Harbour BioMed Appoints Adam Zong, PhD, President

Harbour BioMed, a biopharmaceutical company discovering and developing novel antibody therapeutics, is welcoming Adam Zong, PhD, as its new President.

Zong will be based in Shanghai and report directly to Harbour BioMed Founder, Chairman, and CEO Jingsong Wang, MD, PhD.

Previous Experience of New President

Prior to this new appointment, Zong was Principal Consultant at Arc Nouvel Clinical Development Consulting. Also, he was the founding Chief Executive Officer of Hengrui Therapeutics U.S., for which he led a global company expansion.

Previously, Zong held senior leadership roles at Merck & Co., Bristol Myers Squibb, Schering-Plough, and Pfizer. At these companies, Zong managed global franchises, supervised large commercial portfolios, and led business development, licensing, and M&A transactions.

Harbour BioMed Responsibilities for Zong

At Harbour BioMed, Zong assumes responsibility for strengthening the company’s internal product pipeline and advancing strategic development of its portfolio. He will lead asset strategy and partnership initiatives, and work to align cross-functional efforts to accelerate development timelines.
